The framing system for this mirror allows for complete flexibility and creativity for changing the background. As shown, the mirror floats 3/4" above the background, which consists of clear glass with a frosted acrylic backing. The background provides a muted reflection of the surroundings while the wall behind remains translucent, creating an interesting compliment to the true reflection of the mirror. By easily inserting different materials between the glass and acrylic, you've achieved a totally new look! Frame will accept an overall thickness up to 1/2". As shown:
